Drawing inspiration from traditional architecture, visiting folk houses across the country, we have created many works rooted in Japanese sensibilities. That spirit runs through our architecture of every use and type—into retreats, hotel-offices, logistics facilities, and art destinations alike—each with a distinctly contemporary expression.

その精神とは、気候や風土に適した性能と造形、そして、何よりも、創作のプロセスにおける注意深い観察と、クライアントとの『対話」すなわち、『和』のこころです。

That spirit is the pursuit of performance and form shaped by climate and place—and, above all, careful observation throughout the creative process, and “dialogue” with the client: the Japanese sensibility of wa, harmony.
