南イタリア・オスツーニへの憧憬から生まれたゲストハウス。
A guesthouse inspired by a longing for Ostuni in southern Italy.
日当たりのよいテラスと陽射しを遮るテラスやロッジア。立体的な動線が、あたかも小さな集落をめぐるように計画され、様々な『居場所』が飽きることなく散策を誘う。
Sunlit terraces, shaded terraces, and loggias are woven together by a three-dimensional circulation route. Planned like a walk through a small village, the house invites leisurely wandering among a variety of intimate places to pause and stay.
ゲートをくぐると、南イタリアの小さな集落を思わせる石畳のアプローチが奥へと続く。白く眩い建築群、軽やかに架かるパーゴラ、緑の気配が重なり合い、都市の中にありながら、どこか旅先の路地へ迷い込んだような静かな高揚を生み出している。
Passing through the gate, a stone-paved approach extends inward, evoking a small village in southern Italy. The brilliant white buildings, light pergola, and touches of greenery come together to create a quiet sense of anticipation, as if one had wandered into a lane while traveling, even in the heart of the city.

母屋から伸びる路地のようなブリッジを渡ると、白いパーゴラに包まれた空中テラスへ至る。光と風、緑に抱かれたその場所は、集落の中にひそむ小さな広場のような寛ぎを生み出している。
Crossing the bridge that extends from the main house like a narrow lane, one arrives at an elevated terrace enclosed by a white pergola. Embraced by light, breeze, and greenery, it creates a sense of repose, like a small hidden square within a village.
ブリッジが導く、立体的なテラスの風景
空中テラスから母屋へとブリッジを渡ると、薔薇のパーゴラとアイビースクリーンに縁取られたテラスへ至る。その下にはテラコッタの玄関ポーチが広がり、白い螺旋階段はさらに上階のテラスへとつながる。上下に重なる外部空間と、歩くほどに場面が移り変わる動線が、住まいに小さな集落を巡るような奥行きと高揚を生み出している。
Crossing the bridge from the elevated terrace to the main house, one reaches a terrace framed by a rose pergola and ivy screen. Below lies a terracotta entrance porch, while a white spiral stair leads upward to another terrace. These layered outdoor spaces create the depth and quiet excitement of moving through a small village.
深い軒、テラコッタの玄関ポーチ
白い壁、深い軒がつくる陰影の中にテラコッタの床がしっとりと馴染む。上階の緑と薔薇のパーゴラからこぼれる光が、ポーチに南欧の中庭を思わせる明るさと奥行きを与えている。
Deep Eaves and a Terracotta Entrance Porch
The terracotta floor sits quietly within the shadows cast by the white walls and deep eaves. Light filtering down from the greenery and rose pergola above gives the porch a brightness and depth reminiscent of a southern European courtyard.
シャビーホワイトの家具、ホワイトベージュのライムストーン、スイス漆喰をベースにした空間に、小さなステンドグラス、観葉植物、小物が映える。手仕事感のあるピンクモザイクの造作洗面台が、子供室の入り口のサインとなっている
Shabby white furniture, white-beige limestone, and Swiss plaster form the base of the space, allowing small stained-glass pieces, plants, and decorative objects to stand out. A handcrafted pink mosaic vanity marks the entrance to the children’s room.
成長に合わせ個室化に向かう、オープンなキッズスペース。図書館のような、カフェのような、明るくオープンな空間。
An open kids’ space designed to become private rooms as the children grow. Bright and open, with the atmosphere of a library or a café.
光と天然木が大らかなリビングダイニングを整える
開放的で伸びやかな大空間の広がりと、その場所、その場所の『落ち着き』を同時成立させる。空間を引き締める『梁』、コーナーベンチやカウンター。天井の高い場所と低い場所、こうした特徴を組み合わせて落ち着きを創る。
Light and natural wood bring calm order to the generous living-dining space.
The open, expansive room achieves both a sense of breadth and moments of quiet comfort. Beams that define the space, corner benches, counters, and the contrast between high and low ceilings work together to create places of calm within the larger volume.

お風呂リビングという、もうひとつの居場所
屋内のバスルームと露天風呂をひと続きに計画した空間。白いタイルの浴室の先に、木格子に包まれた屋外の湯船が続く。光や風、緑を感じながら過ごすこの場所は、浴室でありながら、静かにくつろぐリビングのような居場所となっている
A Bath Living Room: Another Place to Unwind
This space connects the indoor bathroom and the outdoor bath as one continuous setting. Beyond the white-tiled bathroom, an open-air tub is enclosed by wooden screens. Surrounded by light, breeze, and greenery, it becomes not only a bathroom, but a quiet living space for relaxation.

パノラマの風景窓から白い余白の空間、そして屋外テラスへ
階段を上がると、リボン状に広がるパノラミックな窓。明るい主寝室の奥には、その奥には屋外空間へと気配をつなぐ白い床の余白。眠る場所に加え『静かな間』が、寝室全体にゆったりとした奥行きを生み出している。
From a panoramic window to a white margin, and out to the terrace
At the top of the stairs, a ribbon-like panoramic window opens across the room. Beyond the bright master bedroom, a white floor space gently leads the eye toward the outdoor terrace. More than a place to sleep, the room gains depth through this quiet interval of light and openness.
屋外に開く快適地下空間
ドライエリアに面した地下のホビールーム。楽器や趣味に没頭するための静かな場でありながら、外部階段を通じて住まいの回遊動線に組み込まれている。光を受けるコンクリートの壁、植栽の気配、外へ抜ける視線が、地下空間に閉塞感ではなく、隠れた居場所のような豊かさを与えている。
A Comfortable Basement Open to the Outdoors
A basement hobby room facing the dry area. Designed as a quiet place for music and personal pursuits, it is also part of the home’s circulation through the outdoor stair. Light on the concrete walls, touches of greenery, and views outward give the underground space the richness of a hidden retreat.
